Crimes de Facto

dir. Bekir Efe Demetgül, 16’55’’

İsa has taken on the responsibility of providing for the home he shares with his mother Hacer and his sister Melike. But unemployment begins to eat away at him and one day, he drifts off to a sweet sleep and  he does not wake. Convinced that İsa’s ex-wife, Kader has cast a spell on him, Hacer seeks help from a hodja. He tells her that İsa can only be awakened if a secret kept from him is revealed. Soon, the family home becomes a place of confession with visitors arriving one after another. When none of the secrets wake her brother, Melike comes to believe that Kader may be the only person who can. However, Hacer refuses to involve the woman she still resents for divorcing her son.
