\u201cThe Good Death\u201d is considered in medical literature as a death that respects the individual’s privacy and sensitivity, fulfills their emotional, spiritual and religious needs and desires, and allows sufficient time for farewell.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Established in 2007, the Wish Ambulance Foundation continues its efforts to ensure that patients in the terminal phase of their lives can bid farewell in a ‘good’ manner. Today, this foundation fulfills the wishes of individuals of all ages who are unable to move. Retired police officer Frank Halter, who lives alone with his wife and dog, has been to be a part of the entirely volunteer-based for the past six years. Serving as a driver and volunteer for the foundation, Frank Halter expresses his fear of being a person who needs care beyond death and die alone, although he does not believe in the concept of a \u201cgood death\u201d. For this reason, he has participated in voluntary work and endeavored to be by the side of those in need of assistance.<\/span><\/p>\n

The requests made by Wim Beuving, who has come face to face with the reality of death and has “ordinary” desires, are devastating and equally emotional for anyone witnessing them.
