In 1980s Mardin, 11-year-old Assyrian boy Gabriel and his friends eagerly prepare for Local Goods Week at school. Gabriel, keen to showcase his cultural heritage, has a unique idea. With his friends support, he creates a culturally significant product and brings it to school. However, in the authoritarian and oppressive school environment, Gabriel’s creation causes a major issue. The school administration, believing they have everything under control, faces unexpected challenges due to Gabriel’s product. This confrontation forces them to acknowledge underlying tensions and the cultural significance of Gabriel’s contribution.
