A Barber Who Cuts His Own Hair

dir. Şükrü Özümcan Akın, 13’ 56’’

On a street where every shop has long surrendered to the night, an “OPEN” sign hangs on the door of Keskin Barber. Inside, the meticulous Azmi Keskin still waits for his first customer. By sheer coincidence, Armağan finds himself passing through and, despite the uncanny hour, decides to get the haircut he had originally planned for the morning.

What begins as an ordinary encounter takes an unexpected turn, as questions of self-image, obsession, consent and control quietly slip into the driver’s seat.
